96% of our Aspen high school senior class have been accepted to college. If you are speaking to anyone outside of Aspen – given the challenges in college admissions today – you know that this is not happening across the country. Our students and our college counseling department are INCREDIBLE.
Melissa, Charlie and Susanne have worked day and night to make every acceptance a reality. A lot goes into the process – from essay writing, standardized test support, application support, FAFSA forms, scholarship applications, work study exploration – to give each of our students this chance.
This individual service and support is not the norm in public school today. We are the only school on the western slope with a full time college counseling office. This is made possible by the Aspen Education Foundation (AEF). AEF funds one college counselor and the assistant in the office. AEF is supported by our parents and our community. We can’t do it without you.
