AEF believes that our children deserve life-changing educational experiences. AEF believes that all K-12 Aspen public school students benefit from the generosity of the community. AEF funds the programs that raise the bar in our public schools.

Immediately, the Aspen school district is trying to hire more teachers, create new learning spaces, and order supplies to accommodate the growing number of students. In addition, major precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of our students and staff as we work to open school. At the same time, the district is investing in new programs and technology should school be online. But this takes money – and comes at a time when the State of Colorado is making massive budget cuts.

AEF has created new giving levels – meant to engage and inform you. The funds raised will directly impact this next school year – by hiring teachers, creating space, expanding our programs, and creating a safe learning environment. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in conversations, meetings, and activities. This Aspen level of public education is not free. Please support our public school.

WHAT’S NEW

Our vision is that every child in our community has access to an extraordinary public education. All students deserve rigorous academics and a multitude of beyond classroom educational experiences that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.

Aspen Education Foundation champions public education, raising money to fund programs and positions of distinction. In partnership with school administrators and the community, we identify programs that we believe are vital for our students, but are not funded by the State of Colorado. We support academics, educators, students, and the Aspen public schools.
