Thanks to the incredible generosity of our local community, Flamingo 2025 was our most successful fundraiser ever. We are deeply grateful to every donor, parent, educator, and supporter who helped make this achievement possible.

Each year, AEF commits funding to specific programs and positions that directly support students and teachers across our Aspen public schools. For the 2026–27 school year, that commitment exceeds $1.5 million.

Turning Fundraising Success Into Greater Impact When our annual fundraiser raises more than what’s already committed, AEF partners closely with district administration to determine where additional funds can make the greatest difference. This year’s success allows us to do just that — and the impact is significant.

Expanding Equity Through Experiential Education By controlling the cost of experiential courses and trips, Aspen High School is working to ensure these opportunities are not prohibitively expensive for families. Thanks to the success of Flamingo 2025, Aspen Education Foundation is helping expand access while also elevating the quality of experiential learning opportunities. Families will receive more information from AHS as plans develop for the 2026–27 school year.

Investing in Innovation and Educators Additional funds raised through Flamingo 2025 will also support a district-wide Innovation Project and upgraded computers and programming for teachers, ensuring educators have the tools they need to support today’s learners. The school district will be sharing more details about these exciting initiatives soon.

A $2.5 Million Investment in Our Schools In total, the success of Flamingo 2025 enables AEF to deliver a $2.5 million impact across Aspen Public Schools for the 2026/27 school year— a powerful reflection of what’s possible when a community comes together in support of public education.
