There are three issues on this fall’s ballot that are critical to the future of the Aspen School District.

Issue 2A: Renewal of Town of Snowmass Village’s property tax to guarantee $500,000 per year

Issue 2B: Renewal of City of Aspen 0.3% sales tax expected to raise $1,500,000 per year

Issues 2A & 2B help support Aspen School District’s ongoing operations. Colorado ranks a dismal 44th in state funding. Due to the budget stabilization factor, the district’s state funding has been cut by $19.2 million in the past 10 years. Issues 2A and 2B protect class sizes, programming, and the recruitment and retention of quality teachers and staff.

Issue 4A: Bond issue that will raise almost $95,000,000 to address the Aspen School District’s highest priority capital facility needs. This is the big one. PLEASE VOTE YES!
